Join us on the Main Payette river for a day of safety education!
The Idaho Whitewater Association is holding it's Annual Safety Saturday Event on August 14th. This is a day of free clinics on river rescue and safety skills. It is free for all rafters and kayakers. It is being held at the Banks put-in on the Main Payette from 10am to 2pm. We will have stations set up where you can practice flipping boats, throwing rescue ropes to swimmers, ropes and knots for river rescue including a Z-drag and basic CPR. We will also be having a free BBQ!
This event is free and open to the public!

<Please click here for a copy of the membership form>. Dues are only $15 a year for parties and entertainment during the cold months and great river trips during the warmer months. We promote safety on the river, improved access to whitewater sites and represent whitewater rafters and kayakers in the ongoing discussion of charging registration fees for non-motorized boats. Please support us, so that we can better support you.

As a member in good standing with the Idaho White Water Association, the IWA would like to offer you the use of a personalized email account. You may select your username, first come, first served and as long as you are a member of IWA, this email account will be yours.
